EFIL Summit 2011 Volunteers (Portugal)

EFIL Volunteers Summer Summit 2011 (Portugal)
At the Volunteer Summer Summit 2011, volunteers from all over Europe and the rest of the world, will have the possibility to develop further European links on personal and organizational levels. It will bring together over 250 people of different cultural, generational, and social backgrounds. This diversity will be an incredible opportunity to see and meet the world and also to bring it back home in the knowledge, experience, new friends and memories acquired.

In the spirit of the European Year of Volunteering, EFIL has chosen the theme "Promoting Multiculturalism through Volunteer Work"for the Volunteer Summer Summit 2011. It gives the framework to promote multiculturalism and informal learning in the AFS/EFIL network, and participants achieve a feeling of belonging to an inclusive volunteer community. Objectives are also to provide training opportunities on both high and basic level, intercultural experiences, networking and sharing.
